The urgency of implementing the OBE (Outcome-Based Education) curriculum is paramount in today's educational landscape. This curriculum places a strong emphasis on the outcomes and results of learning, rather than just focusing on the traditional methods of teaching. By implementing the OBE curriculum, educators can ensure that students are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to thrive in a rapidly changing world. This approach also allows for a more personalized and flexible learning experience, catering to the diverse needs of students. Additionally, the OBE curriculum encourages critical thinking, problem-solving, and practical application of knowledge, which are essential skills for success in the 21st century. Therefore, it is crucial for educational institutions to prioritize the adoption of the OBE curriculum to meet the demands of modern education and prepare students for the challenges of the future.

In this implementation effort, the IAIN Madura Quality Assurance Institute (LPM) opened the minds of institute leaders, faculty leaders, heads of study programs and study program secretaries within IAIN Madura (especially sharia faculty management) and leading stakeholders to be actively involved in Focus Group Discussion activities (FGD) which discussed and discussed the Outcome Based Education (OBE) curriculum in depth. The FGD was held for 2 days at the Cahaya Berlian Hotel Pamekasan. In this activity, LPM presented Mrs. Dr. Dra. Hj. Meinarni Susilowati, M.Ed (Head of Audit and Quality Control Center) UIN Malang. It is hoped that this Group Discussion Forum can be a starting point for a broader collaborative process in implementing the OBE curriculum in accordance with the dynamics of societal and technological development.

At the end of the activity, all participants agreed to hold follow-up activities, until the OBE curriculum could actually be implemented.
